QR Translator is a patented multilingual QR code generator that allows you to share multilingual content with just a scan, making translating product packaging, signage, and other printed materials into multiple languages simple and easy.

While there are numerous services available for generating QR codes, QR Translator stands out with its robust translation, redirection, and speech tools. Moreover, QR Translator QR codes are dynamic, allowing you to edit their content at any time. QR Translator is the ideal choice for multilingual signage, marketing and information sharing.

QR Translator's QR codes operate seamlessly by embedding a single, unique URL. This URL contains your source (original) text as well as all its translations. One QR code contains up to 15 languages.
The QR code is permanently linked to this URL, eliminating the necessity to regenerate the code whenever you make content updates.

The URL embedded in the QR code will promptly open in the user's browser. If you have a translation in the user's language, it will be displayed automatically, providing a seamless and user-friendly experience.
With the scanner's consent, the device's location data will be securely stored and made accessible as part of the Scan Data.

QR Translator detects the display language of the device* that is used to scan the QR code.

*Strictly speaking, it is the language of the browser, but the language settings of your smartphone or tablet are usually inherited by the browser.

Yes, you can edit your QR code's content anytime.
The QR code itself will remain the same, so there is no need to reprint the code after updating its content.

A single QR code can display content in as many as 15 languages, including the original language.

Machine translation is available for over 130 languages. By default, you can choose from a diverse range of machine translatable 43 languages. You also have the flexibility to create translations in any other languages by defining your own custom languages.

Text to Speech is available in 43 languages, but you can upload your own mp3 files in any language.

For a comprehensive list of all supported languages, open_in_new See all languages.

Note: Certain lesser-known languages might not be recognized by web browsers, and as a result, cannot be utilised on QR Translator.

Yes, you have the flexibility to edit each translation as you see fit. You can edit each translation separately, so you can edit the machine-generated translations or replace them entirely with your own. This makes it possible to customise your content to meet the needs of your audience based on the language they speak. You can enhance your content with images, links, and videos.

Yes, you have the option to regenerate machine translations as often as necessary. When you choose to do so, you can retranslate all, some, or none of the other languages. However, please be aware that any manual edits you've applied to the existing translations will be replaced by the new machine-generated translations. By default, editing the content of one language will not affect the existing translations in other languages. This allows you to tailor your content to meet the specific language preferences of your audience.

Retranslating is optional. You only need to retranslate if you have edited the content in one language and want to have the same information in the other translations.

Voice / Text to Speech

Text to Speech is available in 43 languages. Most languages have both masculine and feminine voice options to choose from. For world languages such as Spanish, English, and etc., you can choose from a variety of accents and dialects. However, not all languages have the same level of voice options, and the availability of specific accents or dialects may vary.

Although you can add translations in other languages by creating custom languages, automatic Text to Speech is only available for default language options. However, you have the freedom to upload your own recordings (MP3) instead.

Yes, you can customise the speed and tone of Text to Speech voices with SSML (Speech Synthesis Markup Language). QR Translator supports SSML files that are in accordance with Microsoft's guide to SSML.

You can upload your own audio files in MP3 format.

Text to Speech will read aloud any text on the page. It cannot read aloud text that is part of an image or video.

There are no additional costs.
