Deactivate (stop or pause subscription)
In this article
This article explains how QR code subscriptions work and how to stop a subscription.
How do subscriptions work?
Subscriptions are managed per QR code and are billed monthly based on the activation period of each QR code.
Auto-extend Activation lets a QR code’s activation period renew monthly without manual action.
When Automatic Renewal is ON (Default setting):
- The activation period renews automatically each month.
- The QR code remains active without interruption.
- The watermark does not appear and the audio player remains available.
When Automatic Renewal is OFF:
- The QR code expires at the end of the current activation period.
- After the QR code expires, a watermark appears on translations and the audio player is hidden.
- To use the QR code again, you must manually reactivate it.
- Manual reactivation activates the QR code for one month.
- To continue renewing automatically, turn Auto-extend Activation back on.
How to turn off Auto-extend Activation (stop subscription)
Turn off Auto-extend Activation to stop a QR code’s subscription at the end of the current activation period.
- Open the Dashboard
- Find the QR code you want to manage
- Locate Auto-extend Activation.
- Turn the toggle OFF
The QR code will remain active until the end of its current activation period.
ℹ️ The Auto-extend Activation setting is shown only when you have at least one activated QR code. Within the list, the toggle appears only for QR codes that are activated through a subscription.
ℹ️ Deleting a QR code also stops its subscription.
If you delete a QR code that has an active subscription, the subscription is automatically cancelled and no further charges will occur. When you delete a QR code, it is permanently removed and cannot be restored. To temporarily stop billing without deleting the QR code, turn off Auto-extend Activation instead.
Does the free trial renew automatically?
No.
The free trial does not convert to a paid subscription automatically.
Even if you have registered a payment method, a subscription will not start unless you manually activate it.
